Many Monthly Favorites

A few months back, I was really consistant about posting monthly favorites and got quite lazy about them- though I mention a lot of the things I love in posts, I figured that it was about time to list some of the things that I have been loving this month (and January + February)

Urban Decay 24/7 Liners: Bad one to start with, because I don't even know why I felt the need to include it, but my new favorite is Mushroom (a shimmery taupe) and Corrupt (a rich metallic dark brown) and Empire (a matte eggplant color).

Stripes & dresses Recently, I developed a bit of a stripe obsession. Everything I have been wearing has some kind of stripe. I even considered renaming the blog to something with stripes in it...I love this dress, and hope to add some more dresses to my wardrobe this summer. (Tip for anyone who may be coming to Bucknell as a freshman next year, if you want comfort without wearing leggings dresses are the way to go because I have noticed that basically no one-besides athletes and people Sunday morning in the Caf- ever wear sweats.)

Bright Pink Nails: Throughout the winter, I was very into the simple, pale colors, however a couple of weeks ago I went back to the brights (check out my post on nail polish for my favorites) and I definitely missed it.

Chrystal Light: On our spring break trip, we made some trips to the grocery store, and snuck this into my cart. I forgot how good this was, as well as lemonade in general. Look for the best home made lemonade recipe ever in the upcoming future.

One-on-one Dinners: Usually I end up eating alone or with teammates for dinner after practice, but lately I have had the opportunity to meet a lot of really cool people in the past month and connect with people I never would have been able to otherwise.

Simple Makeup Remover Wipes: It was a relief to get these this month because not only do they work (though I wish they were cut in half) I had an absolute nightmare with my old makeup remover. It was the bottle kind that of course lost its cap. And exploded.

Spirit Jerseys: Probably the most common article of clothing, but the Bucknell bookstore recently stocked up on new ones for the spring and they are perfect for Sundays at the library.

Ice Cream: I don't know if it's the fact that spring season has been in full swing, the Freez opening but I have been making way too many trips to the soft-serve machine in the past month. Shame, but the colorful sprinkles get me every time and I always get soft serve instead of "hard ice cream" because I am convinced that it's healthier. These are my thoughts.

Tory Burch Cards Case: This has actually been a lifesaver. I am not kidding. As someone who always looses their student ID card at the worst times (aka right before leaving for the caf, in my bag before getting food when there's a line or at a party) and in the worst places (ie somewhere down the side of my bed- I have wasted too much of my life trying to move my bed and look for it) but this baby has been the greatest and I have had yet to lose my ID.

Peplum tops: Along with dresses, I really like the girly look and how much dressier they look with very little effort.

Honorable Mention: Goes out to my phone alarm. With 8 ams everyday (bad, but not as bad as I thought it was going to be) you have been (for the most part...#thatonespringbreakpractice) loyal in my pursuit of waking up at unthinkable times as well as the massage I got on my trip home. Thank you mother.

Happy Friday! This weekend, BUWR is racing in Jersey and I am going to be able to see Olivia, a good friend of mine at Navy who I haven't seen in a year. Happy (unofficial) House Party to all Bucknellians and have a great weekend!
