The Most Amazing Apartment Ever: Ingrid Nilsen

I like to write about a plethora of different things, and on topic I never really touch on is home decor. Despite living in a dorm where I am unable to pick out any of my own furniture (which in some ways, is a good thing, because back home I don't even have a proper bed frame) I love decorating. 

I remember the dreary day in 2010 when I discovered Ingrid Nilsen's YouTube channel, missglamorazzi. I had been having a terriblr day, so bad that I took a "mental health day" the next day (haha APS please don't come after me) and watched her videos the whole day and was overwhelmed by her amazing beauty ideas and realness behind her videos. Back in the day, she had about 50,000 subscribers, an architecture student in college and was making videos in her dorm. 

Fast forward four years later and the Southern Californian has almost 2 and a half million subscribers. As one of her "earlier subscribers," it's really cool to see someone who has come so far and has developed her channel. This week, Ingrid posted her long awaited apartment tour, and it definitely did not disappoint. Oh my gosh, it makes me want to move into a place of my own of course, though, the closest I am going to get to that is moving downtown, in which case, I cannot expect it to look anything like this. I love all of the bright pops of color and the refurbished wood. Going into a furniture store, I would never think to pick it out, but she just makes it work.
