As finals week is well underway, everyone is getting ready to pack up and go home. While part of me is so excited to go home, I also can't believe that my freshman year is coming to an end. With finals week this week, Fashion Friday was not realistically going to happen. The lovely Kristina from Love, Kristina nominated this blog for a Liebster award! I am so honored and definitely check out her blog. As tradition, the recipient is supposed to answer questions from the person who nominated you. Unfortunately, I don't follow a lot of smaller blogs, so I can't get post to 11 people, however one particular that comes to mind is Holly from Apricity Prep, so I'm going to tag you girl! How long have you been blogging?
After many failed attempts every couple of years, I have been blogging since August 2013 before I left for college.
Why did you start a blog?
I honestly started it as a sort of journal to keep track of my college experiences and had no intention of writing every day. This year though, I decided to start writing every day and fell in love with it.
What's your favorite place to shop?
I will probably be a slave to J.Crew for the rest of my life (as well as any store from M Street in Georgetown). In addition, I also love Urban Outfitters, Bloomingdales and am a complete sucker for any good Forever 21 find.
If you could travel anywhere, where would it be?
After college, I have a dream of traveling around the world for a year. Though I would love to take a trip across Europe and visit Pacifica (Australia/New Zealand/Southeast Asia) - sorry, hard to pick just one!
What is your guilty pleasure?
Rereading the same books and magazines (my mom already wants to kill me for not reading enough classics) and watching the same movies that I have seen a million times.
What is your biggest goal in life?
My biggest goal would be to love my job and to have a family? Get married?
Who is your celebrity crush?
I am a complete sucker for the male leads in chick flicks, especially James Marsden from 27 Dresses.
What's your dream job?
I would love to work as a creative editor of a magazine or be a writer. Kind of random, but I would also love to be a National Geographic photographer.
City or Country lover?
I am a complete city lover, but working at summer camp, I love driving through the country in the summer- there is no better feeling in the whole world.
What's your favorite meal of the day? (Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner?)
I am a big fan of brunch- especially if it means my mother is going to make her famous casserole. There is also a place near my old childhood home called The Cowboy Cafe that serves the best brunch with pancakes, eggs, bacon, toast and hash browns. The best.
Who is your greatest influence and why?
Pretty cliche-but-true answer, but parents are the greatest people I know and biggest influences in my life.
