Not sure if I ever mentioned it here, but when I was in 4th and 5th grade, I cooked dinner every night for my family. It was an after school tradition that I would open up my Rachel Ray kids cookbook (still one of my all time favorites!), go into the fridge, and make whatever I could. Before I left for summer break, I picked up an easy cookbook about quick, cheap meals for college students.
This fall, I am going to be starting a new series where I will cook and document a basic meal ranging from a hearty dinner to a light snack. I think this will be possible since a few of my friends have cars and kitchens this year. Hopefully a couple of them will be up in the next week or two, but stay tuned!
