As someone who has known Katy for a solid three semesters, take any advice on schoolwork because this girl knows her stuff. It's a lot of organization upfront, but it WILL pay off in the long run. Thanks so much Katy and have a great start to the weekend!

Enter the Semester Assignment Spreadsheet! I really like to use Excel to create to do lists, so I thought, why not make a semester to do list. So, today I am going to walk y'all through how I make an Excel spreadsheet showing all of the assignments from all of my classes throughout the semester.
- Collect all of your syllabi that your professors either gave you or are online
- Open up Excel and label the columns like this:
Due Date
|
Class
|
Assignment
|
Book/Article Needed
|
- Next, input the information from one syllabus (from the beginning of the semester through to the end of the semester)
- Repeat with all of your other classes!
- P.S. I know this seems like a lot of work, and it is a bit tedious and time consuming, but the final product is so life-changing. It's worth it!
- After inputting all of your assignments from all of your classes, highlight the same sue dates and move them around until they are in chronological order.
- Your final product should look something like this but MUCH longer
After you are finished, print it out and jump for joy because now you have all the assignments for your semester in one place! I hope you guys find this as useful as I do. It really has helped me stay on top of all my assignments because now there is no way I can miss anything when it's all in one place.
Much love and shout out to Emma for letting me showcase my OCD tendencies :)
