A Ramble of Things...

Sounds like a plan to be (maybe without the wedding registry)
Just a quick update post for you all on this fine Tuesday. Something that is never stressed enough to high schoolers is that in college you are 100% responsible for getting everything done (ok maybe 10% is on your parents, but not much more). Once I came back from break it didn't occur to me that I was going to have to navigate a major change (officially), spring break plans, taking on additional extracurriculars and abroad/internship applications. The very fact that a professor asked me "how are you doing?" today in class might be a sign that a week off of school is coming at the perfect time. That being said, I am absolutely loving school and the craziness that comes with it and I feel like I'm really taking the steps towards my dreams (cheesy but true!). Sorry if this is the most boring post, but here is what's been sitting on my mind the past few weeks.

Business Cards
To start with a fun one, I just designed new business cards! Look for a post to come soon. T.R. didn't like them, but what does he know anyway. I ordered them from Tiny Prints and had a minor mishap, however they had great customer service and fixed it immediately. (Shoutout to Tiny Prints!)

Internships
Currently I am in the process of applying for internships and it honestly feels like I'm going through the college application process all over again- lots of writing, editing and forms. I am not going to go into the exact internships I applied for, but they are primarily in PR, publication- overall in "the creative industry" and are primarily are focused in New York and D.C.

Videos
Yay for more videos coming very soon! I started using my good lens and lights and will be putting up more "personal" videos. I am very excited for using videos as another creative outlet and will be putting out a lot of videos to get the channel growing- look for one or two videos a week!

Spring Break
Quick change of plans, but I will be going to visit my family in California with my mom. We're mostly going to be in the Bay Area, but we are hoping to go a little southern to the beach. Even in 60 degrees, it's going to feel like a desert! Look for some travel posts in the near future.

PR
I mentioned before that I am really interested in going into PR, and am taking on a couple of projects in the upcoming months, including recruitment photos for Theta! It's going to be a lot of work, but I can't wait to get to give back to the organization.

Happy Tuesday! Hope you are having a great day and remember to breathe!
