Hydrate (to be great!)

Working at summer camp, there are a few things that are forever engrained into my mind. I will never look at camping outside in the woods or hot dogs the same way ever again (we really pushed the leave no trace and had to get rid of the baked bean juice by eating it soaked in hot dog buns). A big one though was the importance of drinking water all the time. This may be a random post, but it's an important matter!

With the stress of finals coming up, I have been getting the worst migraines. I think a lot of it had to do with stress, but a lot of headaches are caused by dehydration. I was recently reminded by one of my fellow counselor friends (shoutout if you're reading this Parker!) how much people forget this and the benefits of drinking water are unreal (ex: better skin, weight loss, energy boosts). Perhaps it's an old wives tale, but I have always taken to heart the phrase that if you're thirsty, you're already dehydrated. So especially now that it's warmer, make sure to hydrate to be great! Also putting your name in big letters (or getting a monogram sticker) to put on your water bottle is a great way to keep from losing the 16382920 that I have in my life- just an obvious tip.

Happy Monday- hope you are having a great day! {Image}
