Some very exciting news became official today and I'm finally able to share: TR is going to the Naval Academy! He got accepted a few weeks ago, but he wanted to make sure it was official before posting anything. After visiting Annapolis and not being able to get on campus because I forgot an ID, it's pretty clear that his college experience is going to be very different than a typical college student, but he's not a typical kid.
After years of wishing that I had stayed an only child, it's funny how much time has changed. Now I am that person looking at pictures from our childhood and am wondering where time went. (I can't even imagine what it's like to be a parent.) TR, we are all so proud of what you have accomplished and can't wait to see where your career in the Navy takes you!
